Elementary Volunteer of the Month -- August
Posted on 10/10/2017
Amber Moellmer was nominated by Kristin Sandstrom for Frontier Academy’s Volunteer Recognition Program. “She is my reading helper on Wednesday and usually stays longer to help with the classroom store” said Mrs. Sandstrom, Kindergarten teacher.
Mrs. Moellmer has been volunteering at Frontier going on 4 years now. Her and her husband, Bill, have a 3rd grader, Jayden, and a kindergartener, Alan. She has been in charge of the Staff Appreciation Committee for Frontier’s Organization of Parent and Teachers (OPT). She loves spoiling our amazing staff with the help of other parents.

Moellmer stated “It is something small I can do for our staff to give back to thank them for the huge amount of hours and heart they put into the kids every day. Since my daughter started kindergarten at Frontier I have tried my hardest to come help her teachers, and now my son's teacher as well, doing whatever they need and staying as long as they need me. It is wonderful watching my kids interact with their friends and their teacher every week. It has been a blessing to be part of this school and watch my kids grow and make great memories at Frontier.”

Mrs. Moellmer will receive a $15 King Soopers reloadable gift card for being the August Volunteer of the Month. Congratulations Amber Moellmer and many thanks for all you do to help our school!
